Job Description


A world class main contractor is now seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join their expanding team in Cobham.

The Accounts Administrator Role

The management accountant will take on full accounts assistant responsibilities alongside additional responsibilities such as Audit Supports, Forecasting and Tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales, and receipts.
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (process invoices from suppliers and vendors and generate invoices to clients)
  • Chase payments
  • Bank reconciliation, reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Financial reporting, Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets
  • Tax compliance, Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable tax laws and stay updated on changes in tax regulations.
  • Audit Support, Assist in the preparation for external audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits.
  • Expense Management, Identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Financial Analysis, identity trends and opportunity for improvement
  • Compliance, ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards
  • Xero accounting software, previous experience highly preferred
The Accounts Administrator
  • ACCA highly preferred
  • Previous experience within construction highly desirable
  • Proven experience in accounting or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
