Role Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, with a strong emphasis on bookkeeping and Sage accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders, invoices, credit notes, and reconcile supplier and customer accounts
- Support payroll processing using Sage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders as required
- Handle general administrative duties including answering phones, managing emails, filing, and supporting the wider office team
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to customers
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an accounts or administrative role
- Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software (Sage 50, Sage Cloud, or similar)
- Solid bookkeeping skills and understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive approach to tasks with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and professional attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in a technical or engineering-related environment is an advantage.
