MiliFortune is a well-established Asian supermarket based in London, offering high-quality groceries and fresh produce. As the business grows, we are looking for a full-time Accounts Administrator to join our team and support our day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices, payments, staff expenses, and receipts in a timely manner
Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and filing systems
Prepare monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations
Assist with monthly management reports, including income and expenditure summaries
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely settlement
Support VAT calculation and assist with quarterly tax return preparation
Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and internal departments
Ensure all financial processes comply with company policies and UK accounting regulations
Assist with annual accounts preparation and year-end financial procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in retail or FMCG
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage) and Excel
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is preferred
