You will be IT proficient, enjoy challenges, be a great communicator, have proven experience in accounts and administration, a relevant qualification is essential (Minimum AAT L2). You will be an individual who takes an efficient and methodical approach, ideally with strong administrative experience gained within an accounting environment. What is the role?
Working with the accounts and administration team at our South Oxfordshire site, you will be integral to our small, high-performing finance team - contributing to many key daily processes, reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will collaborate closely with other members of the finance team, operations team, and the external consulting team. You will handle transactional accounting processing and provide essential assistance in various financial and administrative tasks. You will also take on projects and developments that improve and enhance your personal progression as well as the team, and processes, you will be involved in.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop an understanding of the agricultural sector with particular emphasis on holistic and regenerative management.
This includes but is not limited to; Seeking confirmation of, and processing, supplier invoices, including matching to GRNS and investigating discrepancies. New client and supplier administration. Chasing debtors / sending customer statements. Daily generation of sales invoices.

Daily activities: Seeking confirmation of and processing supplier invoices, including matching to GRNS and investigating discrepancies.
Raising queries and obtaining credit notes when required.
Escalation of disputes to financial controller.
Daily generation of sales invoices.
Updating price list information.
Responding to customer and supplier queries regarding accounts.
New client set up, renewals & retiral administration.
New supplier Set up, renewals & retiral administration.
Chasing debtors / sending customer statements, keeping relevant staff in communication.
Reconciliation of company card reports.
Filing (physical and online) of paperwork / year end filing and prep.
Daily admin duties / post / email queries, processing actions promptly & efficiently.
Taking and diverting calls.
Monitoring & requesting office supplies.
Processing of cheques.
Supporting the Finance Controller/Office Manager in ad hoc duties when required.
Ad-hoc support to other roles in finance during periods of leave.
Supporting additional company development projects as required.
