We have a vacancy for an experienced Accounts Administrator at John Elliot Limited. The sucessfull candidate will be required to have experience of using Sage 50 accounting software, good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Duties to include:
Checking all plant operators time sheets have been received weekly.
Issue sales invoices and submit to clients by email/post.
Issue monthly customer statements and monitor credit control chasing overdue accounts where necessary.
Process supplier invoices entering the data on to Sage 50 and reconciling supplier statements prior to month end BACS payments.
Prepare and submit supplier payments, enter customer receipts and reconcile bank accounts.
Prepare quarterly VAT return and submit to HMRC.
Deal with accounts queries in a timely manner.
General office duties to assist with the smooth operation of a busy office.
