What you'll be doing
Prepare accounts using modern systems like Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
Support onsite audits as part of the audit team, learning from experienced colleagues
Draft corporation tax computations and assist with client queries
Review and action points raised by managers and tax colleagues
Act as a point of contact for clients on ad hoc matters
Visit clients across the region and build strong professional relationships
What we're looking for
We value enthusiasm and potential - not just experience
Essential
AAT Level 3/4, or a degree, or 2 A Levels at A*-C (or equivalent)
Willingness to learn and ambition to build a career in accountancy
Strong communication skills - confident with clients face to face, on the phone and by email
Good IT (Excel is your friend)
Eye for detail and ability to check work thoroughly
Proactive problem solver with good organisational skills
Flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel to client sites
Nice to Have
Relevant accounts or audit experience
Familiarity with accountancy software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Iris)
Previous experience in delivering excellent service
