Job Description

We are looking for a Qualified or by experience Accounts and Audit Senior to join our established Accountancy practice in Bromborough. You will be working within a friendly team, with a wealth of experience.

The role will include:

Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Along with being responsible for discussing the results with the clients either in person or over the phone. Involvement in statutory audits, including being involved in planning the audit, leading the audit fieldwork and completion of files for manager review. Assisting, and where necessary helping train clients on accounting software, and showing them how to get the best from their own resources. Preparation of management accounts and discussing the results with clients in order to assist them in their business. Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns. Preparation and review of Vat returns.
The Ideal candidate will have;

4 years plus experience in a public practice, including experience in audits. (Required) Ideally would be ACA or ACCA Qualified, although we would consider qualified by experience or a student studying towards the end of their studies with good experience. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software programmes such as Digita, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero Accounts.
Hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week), with Flexi start time from 8.30am to 9.45am and finish time from 5pm to 6.15pm.

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
