Vacancy description

Due to the expansion of the Property Franchise Group and the progress of our existing apprentices through level 2 , we now have a vacancy for an Accounting Apprentice to join our 7-person Finance team within our Grantham Central Office.

As the Accounting Apprentice, over the course of your apprenticeship, you would be trained to carry out the accounting functions in the following areas:

Purchase invoice processing Processing expenses and credit card statements Managing petty cash Bank reconciliations Sales invoice processing Credit control Managing the accounts inbox

Strong numerical skills Ability to consistently process data accurately Good IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office

Desired qualifications

A minimum of a Level 2 IT qualification and GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent.

Future prospects

The Property Franchise Group is looking to train and develop an Apprentice through all three levels of the Accountancy Apprenticeship with a view to providing the successful candidate with a sound basis for a career in accountancy.

Things to consider

There might be a requirement to drive to other locations within the business during the later years of the Apprenticeship so a full driving licence or the intention to learn to drive is important.

Training to be provided

In addition to training and mentoring in the workplace from a highly experienced team, you will attend Grantham College one day a week to complete AAT Levels 2.

The Property Franchise Group is a leading UK property, mortgage and franchise group operating two divisions, a network of property franchisees and a network of mortgage advisers, from 487 locations nationwide. Since 2016, the Property Franchise Group has recruited thirteen apprentices, five of whom have joined the Finance Team. All have performed exceptionally well and have made a valuable contribution during their apprenticeship, before moving onto permanent roles both within and outside of the Group.
