to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Process and record financial transactions including invoices, receipts, and payments
- Expenses: check submissions and receipts and post to ledger
- Maintain accurate and organized financial files and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Assist and provide information for Accounts
- General Admin (book hotels, prepare documentation)
- Chase clients for overdue payments
Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role (1-2 years preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero)
- AAT (Level 2) or equivalent
Key Competencies:
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills to ensure that an office runs smoothly
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Computer literacy and a working knowledge of accounting packages and other relevant applications, such as Excel, Word and all Microsoft 365 package
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as they need to provide support as needed
- Open to learn our Project Management Software
- Flexible Hours
The successful candidate must:
