SABRE Estate Management Ltd is part of a family run business specialising in residential block management. We are open to candidates with accounting experience or a school leavers with qualifications showing they are analytical and keen to learn and develop skills. Whilst it is not a requirement, should the candidate wish to study for the AAT qualification we would support this. Ideally we require this to be a full time position however we may consider a part time role provided this includes a minimum of 27 hours over 5 days a week Mon - Fri and potentially within school hours, for example. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive person to play a vital role in supporting the accounts department by managing various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining efficient processes.
Duties
To complete daily banking reconciliation.
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in the posting of purchase ledger invoices and covering weekly supplier payments
Assist with energy supplier utility contracts
Assist with service charge debt collection
To monitor the accounts department email account and respond to queries
To answer telephone queries and to process card payments
To count and bank monthly cash
To generally comply with the deadlines of the FCA rules for dealing with client money
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services sector is preferred but not essential.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
