Accounts Assistant
to join our Finance Team at our Chandlers Ford office.

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play an important part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. From processing our accounts payable ledger to handling queries and processing electronic payment runs, you'll be hands-on and integral to the smooth running of the Finance department. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the business, build confidence working with financial systems, and gain valuable experience in legal accounting - all while learning and growing in a team that values development and teamwork.
The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll:
Prompt and accurate recording of financial transactions
Raising and processing electronic payment runs
Processing credit card and expenses runs
Performing daily bank reconciliations
Processing our Accounts Payable
Supporting billing through checking and final posting
General banking tasks
Handling internal staff queries via phone and email
Managing external calls and taking card payments promptly
Assisting Finance Managers with financial admin and ad hoc duties
Providing administrative support to other departments when needed
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous accounts experience within a professional setting
A desire to learn, a flexible attitude, and a collaborative mindset
Confidence with numbers and proficiency in IT, especially Excel
GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in English and Mathematics
