We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

Process dealer payouts accurately and on schedule.

Verify customer and vehicle documentation in line with company and FCA requirements.

Manage lender and dealer commissions.

Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.

Manage accounts payable.

Reconcile daily transactions and assist with month-end financial reporting.

Ensure all finance documentation complies with FCA and GDPR standards.

Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting and audit preparation.

Assist with the continuous improvement of administrative and financial processes.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage50.

Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience in finance administration or a similar role.

Understanding of car finance products (HP, PCP, lease) desirable.

Familiarity with FCA compliance and GDPR regulations advantageous.

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths required.

Currently studying or planning to study an accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT) is desirable.
