Accounts Assistant
to join our busy finance department to cover maternity leave from End of July.
The Role
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll assist with various finance and administrative tasks. This is a full time role with hours of 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities will include:
Processing invoices and managing purchase and sales ledgers
Using
Sage accounting software
and Excel spreadsheets (experience essential)
Assisting with credit control and bank reconciliations
Supporting with monthly reporting and general finance admin
Learning and using additional systems for invoicing and internal processes
Filing and general office duties
Answering incoming calls and assisting with customer or supplier queries
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
Confident user of
Sage
and
Excel
(essential)
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Comfortable handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
A team player with good communication skills and a professional approach
