This opportunity is a high-volume, hands-on transaction processing role, working alongside several other team members, and covering a broad range of ledger responsibilities.

JOB DETAILS



- Purchase Ledger processing completed in an accurate and timely manner, tasks include:

Entering and coding supplier and consultant invoices with correct VAT analysis Electronically matching invoices to materials and plant hire purchase orders Subcontractor invoice processing Reconciling supplier statements and actively resolving any issues or queries arising Obtaining appropriate authorisation with the relevant budget holders Verifying and setting up of new suppliers
- Ensuring e-mail accounts are maintained and organised daily. This includes accurate filing of purchase ledger invoices, statements and ensuring any queries resolved.

- Managing, and ensuring a timely response to, queries from suppliers and other internal and external parties

- Preparing draft payment runs for review by the divisional managers including creating an export file for the bank

- Completing the monthly ledger close.

- Undertaking additional tasks, as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Essential:

Previous Purchase Ledger experience, including high volume processing Comfortable with basic functionality in Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to work diligently and accurately with a keen eye for detail Happy to work as part of a team, but also prepared to take ownership for allocated tasks and actions Highly organised, able to work calmly to get tasks completed fully and in line with internal procedures Comfortable with working to regular deadlines Punctual and reliable Confident to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels with courtesy and professionalism Confident and polite telephone manner Willingness to take on new tasks and learn
Desirable:

AAT Qualification Level 2 or above Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Experience of working in construction industry or house building
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,500.00-30,000.00 per year
