Decron Ltd is an established roofing and cladding business seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our professional team. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and excellent service in the construction industry.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with Sage experience who will report to our Accounts Manager to support our finance operations and provide administrative assistance to our Office Manager and HR & Payroll Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with daily accounting tasks using Sage software
Processing purchase orders, invoices, and expense claims
Assisting with payroll administration processes
Helping with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Assisting with bank reconciliations and financial record keeping
Supporting with preparation of basic financial reports
Providing administrative support to the Office Manager
Assisting the HR & Payroll Administrator with relevant tasks
Maintaining organised filing systems for financial records
Handling basic accounting queries from staff and suppliers
Requirements:
Experience with Sage accounting software (essential)
Experience with payroll processing (desired)
Good numerical skills and attention to detail
Strong organisational abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience in the construction industry (desirable but not essential)
