Accounts Assistant
to join our team.
The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance function with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the construction industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing sub-contract invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with payroll and CIS returns
Managing petty cash and expense claims
Preparing bank reconciliations
Supporting month-end processes and reporting
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
Requirements:
Minimum
2 years' experience
in an accounts role (construction/groundworks experience preferred)
Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar)
Proficient in Excel
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
AAT qualification
(or working towards) preferred but not essential
Opportunity:
