The Role - Accounts Assistant
As our Accounts Assistant, you'll be much more than just a cog in a machine. You will be a key player who takes full ownership of their workload. You'll balance core accounts duties with utilising customer service skills to deliver a quality tailored service to our clients.
Specific duties will include:
Supporting the accounts preparation process.
Processing client data using bookkeeping software (primarily Xero), including purchase invoice recording, bank reconciliations, and VAT return preparation.
Providing additional support to our administration team by managing client communications, such as answering client calls and processing their records, at certain times during the week.
What We Want
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate the following experience and characteristics:
General bookkeeping / accounts administration experience.
Proficiency with Word and Excel.
Great customer service skills, with a personable approach and a proven ability to build relationships with others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A Confident, Proactive Approach: The ability to work autonomously and take the initiative to solve issues before they escalate.
Strong Sense of Accountability: You take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
