Job Description

Site Guardian Group is a fast growing family owned business that delivers natiowide temporary site security servies throughout the UK, and due to continued growth we now need a passionate individual to join us to help create a brand new accounting function within the business. You will be working alongside the Directors to offer direct input as to how the accounting functions of the business can be improved to allow us to deliver exceptional customer service to our varied client base.

Hours:

Full-time/Permanent (37.5hrs Mon-Fri)

Progression:

This role presents a significant opportunity to become a key person within a growing organisation working to create and lead an in house finance department.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who possess the following skills:

Duties:



Enhance and implement financial procedures and controls, especially in accounts receivable and credit control. Purchase invoice posting Statement reconciliations Processing bank payments Posting of supplier payments Invoice and price queries to suppliers Expenses analysis Maintain the accounts receivable ledger for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions. Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate payment application. Implement and manage credit control processes, including customer credit assessments, setting credit limits, and pursuing overdue accounts. Reconcile customer statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies. Manage customer queries and disputes, ensuring efficient resolution. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable, including preparing reports on aged debtors and bad debts. Respond financial queries from Directors and Clients and communicate financial information clearly.

Answer supplier queries Support the Managing Director with customer queries Ad hoc administrative tasks

Experience of XERO essential Previous experience: required
