32.5 hours per week (9am -4pm 5 days per week with unpaid hour lunch)
Rate: 22,815 per annum (13.50/hour)
A key member of the Finance function within a customer-centric co-packing business, the ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of accounts and be able to process data to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who has the ambition and drive to learn and develop their existing skills and knowledge of accounts and our wider business systems within a friendly and supportive environment.
Main duties include:
Sales ledger
: accurate creation and posting of sales invoices that align with sales orders and despatch documentation, credit control and cash allocation.
Purchase ledger
: purchase invoice processing, checking invoices against purchase orders and goods received documentation, reviewing supplier statements, and resolving queries.
Queries
: resolving queries arising from within and outside of the business
General administration duties as required.
Opportunities to develop knowledge of wider accounting work:
e.g. production and stock accounting, banking/bank reconciliations, VAT, PPT and other statutory returns
You should have:
Good working knowledge of Sage 50 or equivalent
Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
Good understanding of the interactions between finance tasks and ERP or MRP systems
Ability to work on own initiative to strict deadlines and be an excellent team player.
