Job Description

NRA Roofing & Flooring Services Ltd are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our current accounts team of two people. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy in financial records and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Duties



Assisting with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate inputting of invoices Processing of weekly subcontractor wages Performing data entry tasks, maintaining precise financial records in accounting software with Sage Accounts Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and correspondence Any other duties to support the accounts team & administration team with the view to eventually learning and having full working knowledge of all aspects of our internal accounting processes including purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, HMRC submissions etc.

Experience



Previous experience in a similar role within a busy accounts environment Familiarity with Sage Accounts & Sage Payroll software is highly desirable Use of excel and word required and a good telephone manner Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage & prioritise multiple tasks effectively Ability to work to strict deadlines
Details:

Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Location - Rock House, Millership Way, Ilkeston, DE7 8DW Immediate start Salary - 30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00 per year
