We are recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join a busy office with a manufacturing environment. This is a varied role that requires excellent Sage experience and the ability to work accurately and confidently across a range of accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
Daily bookkeeping, including processing all incoming/outgoing bank transactions
Processing Stripe (payment platform) transactions and reconciliations
Bank and Stripe reconciliations
Sales order entry & invoice processing
Managing the accounts email inbox and prioritising responses
Credit control duties
Liaising with customers and suppliers via email and telephone
Requirements
Proven experience using Sage (essential)
Confident working in a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Working Pattern
Part-time, approximately 3 days per week (flexible options available such as 5 mornings, 3 full days, etc)
Office-based role
Additional Information
Start date: Mid-October
The company will be migrating from SAP to Sage in late October, So a degree of flexibility and adaptability will be required during this transition
