We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation by managing accounts payable and receivable, performing data entry, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Responsibilities
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
Utilise accounting software
Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare reports and assist in the preparation of financial statements as required.
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is advantageous.
Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks
Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
