A rapidly expanding, full-service event agency with a friendly and passionate team, complete with an exciting client roster, is looking for someone to assist with their accounts function.
You will be joining a team of 45+ dedicated, fun-loving professionals, in an organisation that specialises in creative event design, event management, AV production, content design and production, across live, as well as hybrid and virtual events.
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our busy finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of accounting processes and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will be to:
Process supplier invoices and employee expenses with precision and timeliness.
Raise and issue accurate sales invoices to customers (Accounts Receivable).
Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and assist in preparing payment runs (Accounts Payable).
Monitor supplier accounts, chase missing invoices, and request supporting documentation as needed.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries promptly.
Support credit control activities and monitor outstanding customer payments.
Assist the Finance Manager with daily finance tasks and general administrative duties.
What We're Looking For
Experience with Xero
accounting software is preferred but not essential.
Solid understanding of
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
processes.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Highly organised, capable of managing multiple tasks and maintaining up-to-date financial records.
Willingness to support general administrative tasks as required.
