We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hardworking, reliable and organised team player with a desire to develop their skills. You should be computer literate, logical thinking, have good time management skills and have excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Processing customer invoices and credits
Processing product invoices and credits
Processing expense invoices
Processing fixed asset additions
Posting journals relating to payments and receipts
Reconciling supplier statements
Processing petty cash
Pursuing outstanding debts with prompt resolution to queries
Processing refunds for exchanges and returns
Reconciling trade counter sales daily
Processing credit account applications
Bank reconciliations
VAT return
Dealing with external and internal queries
The Accounts Assistant must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Strong credit control skills.
Experience of working on both Purchase and Sales Ledger computerised systems.
Good reconciliation skills.
Good communication at all levels.
Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and work in a methodical manner.
A confident telephone manner to be able to resolve customer queries.
Computer literate including Excel and Word.
Package:
Annual starting salary 24,000
Quarterly performance related bonus
Working hours: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 07:30-15:30 and 09:30-17:30
