We are currently looking for an individual to join our Finance team on either a part time or full time basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support on all aspects of finance administration for the wider team. This would be a great opportunity for an individual interested in pursuing and advancing their career in Finance.
Your key responsibilities include the following;
Managing customer accounts and transactions
Build relationships with customers and ensure customer payment processes are understood & actioned for prompt payment & discrepancy resolution.
Open customers and supplier accounts and carry out company checks.
Raise sales invoices and credits in accordance with company policies and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
Handle large volumes of supplier invoices and ensure accounts are ready for monthly payments run.
Support the month end process and ability to work to strict deadlines.
Dealing with Customer and Suppliers queries via telephone and email.
Manage fuel cards and reconcile on a monthly basis.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-motivated individual, with an eye for detail that allows you to see how to follow processes and ensure the systems work smoothly and efficiently.
You will have a degree of experience in working with computerised accounting software, and you will need to be able to work with and support different departments and communicate with all levels of staff - Knowledge of Xero would be an advantage but not essential.
A team player with a strong can-do attitude is critical, operating with tenacity and positivity.
Excellent communication and organisational skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
