We're looking for a competent and motivated Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at Active Flooring Solutions. You'll already have solid experience in an accounts role and be confident handling day-to-day finance processes. Key Responsibilities
Accurately process purchase and sales invoices
Process subcontractor timesheets and check for accuracy
Carry out bank reconciliations and supplier statement checks
Assist with month-end routines, journals, and reporting
Maintain clear, up-to-date financial records
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams regarding payment queries
Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a finance/accounts role (minimum 1-2 years)
Ideally already studying AAT or planning to -- full support provided
Highly organised with a good level of Excel skills
Confident, detail-oriented, and able to manage your own workload
Experience with Sage, Xero, or other accounting software is a plus
What You'll Get
Salary: 28,000 - 30,000, depending on experience
37.5 hours per week, based at our Liverpool office
