We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance department at our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre.

We have been operating for over 35 years and currently have 14 operational student accommodation schemes in 10 major cities, with an impressive 1.6bn worth of developments in the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:



Accurate input and maintenance of ledgers for various trading entities. Checking and prioritising purchase invoices for multi-companies before inputting. Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes where relevant. Obtain authorisation for timely payment and producing the payment run. Reconciling supplier statement balances to ledgers. Organising and filing invoices electronically. Payments team support, dealing with enquiries from tenants via email and over the phone to process their payments. Preparation of multiple bank reconciliations. Reconciliation of monthly expenses, company credit cards and petty cash, posting of entries into the accounting system. Sales ledger processing, credit control. Answering queries by phone & email. Assist the finance dept with any other duties as required.

Key Requirements:



Experience working as an Accounts Assistant. Excellent IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills. Good communication skills and able to work to own initiative. Good organizational skills. Smartly presented with first class customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
