Accounts Assistant
to join our busy office team.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance within a supportive, fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in keeping our accounts running smoothly and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
Managing petty cash and expenses
Assisting with payroll preparation
Supporting month-end reporting and VAT returns
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
General administrative duties to support the finance and office teams
About You:
Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (construction industry experience a bonus)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage, Xero, or similar systems is beneficial
Good communication skills and a strong team player
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
AAT qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (preferred but not essential)
