Part time accounts assistance role. 16 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 10am - 2pm. Flexible approach to working available. Overtime may be available when we are busy.
On site working required in Louth.
Responsibilities
Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry into accounting software.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end closing activities.
Submit quarterly VAT returns.
Provide administrative support to the Management Team.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting SAGE software.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
A basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards is advantageous.
