Accounts Assistant Manager

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen in the Accounts department to assist the accounts manager in a varied role working within a busy Haulage and Plant Hire Company.

The successful candidate must have the following:

Level 2 AAT qualification or similar or above

Must be highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines

Key Responsibilities



Experience in Sage Accounts Professional

Sales and Purchase ledger.

Credit control

Bank Reconciliations

Payroll Experience- preferably Iris software

VAT Returns

CIS Returns

Monthly Accounts

Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Administrative duties

This is a full time role and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Expected start date 1st September 2025

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 31,200.00-35,360.00 per year
