Wellness International Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Assistant to join their team.


Location - Dakota House, Concord Business Park, M22 0RR, near Manchester Airport.

Salary - Depending on experience, plus bonus scheme and fantastic staff benefits.

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assisstant to join our accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health of the business and requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of accounting practices.



The ideal applicant will have experience from working in a similar role with strong administrative and organizational skills, some of their day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Monitoring and maintaining aged creditors for the business, under the guidance of the accounts team. Ensuring weekly deadlines are achieved.

Issuing remittance advice to suppliers.

Identifying any issues with supplier invoicing / pricing and resolving queries with suppliers.

Dealing with queries and communicating with the relevant department to resolve any issues.

Reconciling delivery notes and inbound deliveries.

Ensuring annual supplier pricing lists are kept current.

Building relationships with our suppliers.

Supporting with monthly invoicing.

Chasing aged debtors for the business, under the guidance of the accounts team.

Monitoring and reviewing of client credit terms, and escalating any concerns.

Maintaining an inventory of office supplies, and ordering when necessary

Providing administrative and clerical support as needed

Assisting with management account duties and month end.

Working towards financial deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements



Ideal experience in an credit controller role or similar. Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, also within our internal departments Manage phone calls and correspondence (emails, letters, packages) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail Ability to adjust and strong time management skills High level of organisational skills Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, mail merges; email and web searches. Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments. Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision

Advantageous Requirements



Studying towards AAT qualification or similar

SAGE50 experience

Experience in credit control
