Njord Offshore Ltd. manages Crew Transfer Vessels for the Offshore Windfarm Sector. Our head office is based in Tendring, UK and our operations extend throughout Northern Europe.
We are recruiting for a temporary Accounts Assistant for a 12 months maternity cover starting between the 6th and 13th October 2025 at our office in Tendring, Essex. This role is in a growing business where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
The mains responsibilities will include
Processing of supplier invoices
Reconciling supplier statements & dealing with discrepancies
Dealing with Supplier queries
Sending remittances to suppliers
Processing and reconciling corporate credit cards
Creating sales invoices
Processing expense claims
Holiday cover for others in the Accounts team
Adhoc tasks as and when required
The successful candidate will have:
GCSE Maths & English grade C or above
Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is an advantage
Strong IT skills, Excel, Outlook & Word
High attention to detail and accuracy with excellent keyboard skills
Excellent verbal, written, numeracy and customer service skills
The ability to cope under pressure in a busy environment
Own transport required due to remote location of the office and no public transport
This role is Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
