Maintain sales ledger and purchase ledger.
Raising invoices and communicating with customers.
Setting up supplier payments on the bank.
Weekly processing of Payroll using Sage50.
Process weekly pension contributions.
Reconcile supplier statements and handle any queries.
Number stamping and dating all invoices / credits / statements.
Accounts assistant training will be provided on a variety of tasks and duties.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the business as required.
To work collaboratively with other employees and develop a strong knowledge of the businesses.
Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
Filing as required.
Any other reasonable duty that is within your capability.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
Strong numerical skills.
Good knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
Strong financial and commercial acumen gained working within an accounting team.
Good written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
Confident, assertive, flexible, and self-motivated.
