We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic business within the fuel industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a high standard of service and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls and handling general enquiries
Assisting with client queries in a professional and timely manner
Liaising with suppliers regarding invoices, statements, and account queries
Processing new business applications
Processing customer payments and allocating receipts
Chasing overdue debt and maintaining accurate debtor records
Reconciling supplier invoices and resolving discrepancies
Completing daily bank reconciliations
Raising and processing sales invoices
Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
Supporting the wider accounts team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience in an accounts or finance role preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confident telephone manner
Good organisational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Additional Information
Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 2.30pm
Office based in modern offices
Own transport required due to the location of the business, with free parking
25,000 - 28,000pa (pro rata)
