Accounts Assistant - Sales and Purchase Ledger - Milton Keynes

Reedbut Group designs and manufactures corrugated packaging. The business has one newly refurbished site in Milton Keynes, and is one of the leading independent sheet plants in the UK. The company has an annual turnover of over 20 million and employs approximately 100 people.

The business operates in the rapidly growing corrugated packaging market and the materials the company work with have strong green credentials and are playing a leading role in the war against single use plastic.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing purchase invoices and credit notes Invoice coding and supplier account maintenance Supplier payment runs and statement reconciliations Credit control: chasing payments, sending statements, resolving queries Payroll Administration Bank Reconciliation Banking and Cash allocations Cashbook management General finance admin and support for sales ledger tasks

Requirements:

Finance or accounts experience will be needed due to the wide ranging reach of the role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Confident communicator with good IT skills (Excel/Outlook) Organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks It would be preferred to have started your AAT, though there will be support in starting this or continuing your studies with sponsorship.

Hours of Work

This is a 5 days per week on site role, working 37.5 hours per week.

Salary.

Depending on experience and qualifications the salary range is 32-35,000 per annum.
