Full-time Accounts Assistant role working Monday to Friday at College Business Park, suitable for someone with or without accounts experience who can help us keep the business running smoothly.
Role responsibilities:
Managing payables@ email inbox
Processing supplier invoices and payments, customer receipts and refunds in our system
Being proactive to resolve queries
Dealing with accounts queries via phone and email
Following up with customers who are paying up-front for orders
Helping out with customers calling in to collect orders
Various other ad-hoc/daily/weekly/monthly admin tasks!
Who we are looking for...
Previous success as an accounts assistant, finance assistant or in a similar role would be great but it isn't essential.
Someone who is keen, learns new things easily and is happy to help out in other areas of the business
You like things tidy and organised
You are accurate and bother about the details
You cope well juggling tasks
You are friendly and helpful
You can write clear emails
You talk confidently on the phone
You are comfortable using MS Office (especially Outlook, Teams, Excel) and business systems
