We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to manage our clients day-to-day financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience with Quickbooks, Xero and Sage accounting software, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Process accounts payable and receivable
Prepare financial reports for management
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage,)
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Certification in bookkeeping or accounting from a recognized body such as The AAT.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with colleagues and suppliers.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills in accounting practices.
