We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in Slough. The ideal candidate will support our financial department in day-to-day operations and contribute to the company's financial health.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Process invoices and expense claims
- Conduct reconciliations of bank statements
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks
- Data entry and record maintenance
- Help with financial audits
- Cashflow Management
- Credit Control
- Payroll
- Raising customer invoices with the corresponding purchase orders
- VAT Returns
- Paye Payments
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Sage Accounts.
- Familiarity with financial software and databases
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- AAT qualification or studying towards an accounting qualification is desirable
