We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, excellent organisation, and a keen eye for accuracy. This role is key in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations within the business. Previous experience with Sage is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records
Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and promptly
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets
Assist with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
Prepare and distribute financial reports as required
Support audits and respond to queries from management or external partners
Perform general administrative duties within the finance department
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
