We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support the organisation's financial operations through accurate data entry, processing accounts payable, and maintaining various accounting software systems.
This is an entry level position - experience of accounts tasks are desirable but not essential.
You will be working with Xero and Microsoft Excel, as well as managing the accounts inbox..
The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Manage and process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
Assist with data entry tasks related to financial records and transactions
Support the finance team in reconciling accounts using Xero.
Maintain organised records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of financial data
Experience
Proven experience working with Xero is desirable but not essential.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
This is a permanent, full time role in our office in Watford. There is no hybrid working.
The successful applicant will have their own car as public transport links to our office are not available.
