Client Account Administrator
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Client Account Administrator with a strong 'can?do' attitude to join our close?knit team. This office?based role would suit someone comfortable in a professional office environment who enjoys working accurately with figures and systems.
You will be organised, conscientious and diligent, with excellent attention to detail. Discretion is essential, as you will be handling confidential financial information.
Key Responsibilities
Working as part of the accounts and administration team, your role will involve the administration and management of client money in line with FCA CASS rules and regulatory reporting requirements. Full training will be provided on our bespoke systems and cash management processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the settlement of trades between the market and client accounts
Creating fees and applying future settlements
Ensuring the accuracy of client bank account details held on our systems
Setting up payments through online banking platforms
Processing dividend claims to and from the market
Maintaining the General Cashbook ledger in Xero
Collating month?end reports to support the preparation of management accounts
Reviewing client paperwork and verifying bank payment details
Undertaking other duties as required by the Partners
Team members share certain core daily tasks, while also taking first?line responsibility for specific areas.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in financial services administration (banking or accounts experience is desirable but not essential)
Be used to working to daily deadlines and managing their own workflow
Be able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
Demonstrate proficient IT skills, with a strong working knowledge of Excel
Be comfortable working with figures and completing forms accurately
Have an enquiring mind to tackle problem solving

This is a full?time, office?based position working 37.5 hours per week, with one hour for lunch. Any offer of employment will be subject to an agreed probationary period.
