Climate Controls and Spares is a Heating/Air conditiong and Refrigeration wholesaler based in Ivybridge. We are looking for a friendly, competent conscientious individual to work as a Accounts/Admin Assistant to the finance director. The successful applicant must be willing to take on new tasks when they arise and work well on their own and as part of a team. The successful candidate must be flexible and be able to work more hours when needed and cover holidays

Skills, experience and abilities required



Working knowledge of sage accounting software is essential Excellent organisational skills Bookkeeping experience Computer literacy and a working knowledge of accounting packages like Word, excel and outlook Conscientious and accurate Excellent organisational and time management skills to ensure that the office runs smoothly Confidence to communicate effectively and accurately with a wide range of people from senior managment to customers and suppliers on the phone and in person

Responsibilities



Matching/Inputting & posting purchase invoices Liaising with suppliers and customers with invoice queries Filing paperwork Entering, billing and managing our refrigeration spread sheet Managing GDPR procedures Managing the returns record and liaising with staff Keep records of customers F-Gas certificates and requesting ones when required Opening of customer accounts Liaising with Opayo issues and advising staff Posting of cash sales and reconciling of internet sales Answering phone calls Other administration duties Emailing customers and suppliers Credit control

In the role of Accounts Assistant/Administrator, you will be integral to the financial operations of our organization, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software such as Sage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, alongside strong organizational skills, will be essential for effective bookkeeping and communication.
