Everhot Cookers birthplace was at Coaley Mill, a 13th century water powered mill near Dursley in the old wool heartland of the south Cotswold valleys. Our showroom remains at the mill, however due to expansion of the business, the cookers are no longer built on this site. All cookers are now built in a purpose built factory 3 miles from Coaley Mill.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent basis to join our office team at our Headquarters at Coaley Mill. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join a growing family business and play a key role in supporting the finance function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of bookkeeping and transactional finance duties, ensuring the smooth and accurate day-to-day running of the accounts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Carrying out regular bank reconciliations Managing transactional accounting duties, including sales ledger and purchase ledger Credit control management and monitoring outstanding balances Uploading and managing payments within Sage Managing and allocating customer payments Reconciling daily cash takings Supporting the wider finance function with ad hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience working in an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeping role Good working knowledge of Sage accounting software Competent in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and manage weekly tasks effectively
Working Hours & Flexibility

We are open to considering flexible working arrangements or part-time hours for the right candidate, provided they are confident in their ability to complete all weekly tasks within their agreed working hours.
