The Role
This is a
hands-on, high-impact role
at the heart of our business. As Accounts Coordinator, you'll lead the daily management of our financial systems, ensuring everything runs like clockwork - from payments and payroll to forecasting and reporting. You'll also play a vital role in supporting wider business operations, contributing to smooth administration and efficient company processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
Accurate data entry and account reconciliation in
Sage
Timely processing of
expense claims, payroll, PAYE & pensions
Handling
supplier and subcontractor invoices
, payments and financing
Managing
business overheads, employee floats, and car leasing
Overseeing
major purchases and financing
Preparing
VAT returns, annual accounts and corporation tax payments
Financial Reporting
Weekly
bank balance updates
Monthly
P&L reports and financial projections
Monthly
Business Overheads Audit
Occasional
Competitor financial benchmarking
Administration Operations
Holiday and absence tracking
HR support
: contracts, onboarding, appraisals & training records
Company vehicle
administration
Managing
business insurances
and renewals
Overseeing
supplier contracts and key services
Maintaining memberships and
professional certifications
Keeping the office ticking:
stationery, utilities, security & maintenance
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in
accounts coordination
Excellent
Sage
and
Microsoft Excel
skills
Impeccable organisation, attention to detail, and time management
A confident communicator with strong writing and numeracy
A proactive, diligent, and dependable team player
