We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded. The aforementioned role is an office based position, supporting the finance director. The role involves maintaining accounts receivable and payable ledgers within Quickbooks and Xero and managing credit control for the company. Due to our semi-rural location public transport is unreliable so access to commuting by car is essential for all candidates
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledgers
- Utilise accounting software including QuickBooks and Xero
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Skills:
- Minimum of 1 years experience to proficient level in accounting software including QuickBooks and Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
- Well versed in all Microsoft Office products
