Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at Grays. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts records on a daily basis, complete weekly payroll and assisting in debt collection as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Input of purchase and sales invoices into our SAGE system.
Import of the data from our customised Purgo system to SAGE.
Review of the debtors and undertaking cash collection alongside the Finance Director.
Completion of the quarterly VAT returns.
Completion of the weekly payroll of the business.
Updating SAGE for the payroll (journals).
Daily Bank reconciliations.
Payment of Creditors alongside the Finance Director.
Assisting the Finance Director with year end processes.
What we are looking for?
A strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and a collaborative working style
Experience in managing month-end processes, reconciliations, payroll and VAT.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (including SAGE Accounts & SAGE Payroll).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
