Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an Accounts, Client or Portfolio Manager to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Kingston (Surrey), who work with an exciting and unique client base.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone with prior experience managing a portfolio of clients who is looking for a new challenge, excellent earning potential and a friendly, flexible work environment.
- Managing your own portfolio of SMEs and sole traders client relationships, providing high-quality accounting services.
- Client billing.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Reviewing bookkeeping work (Xero) and VAT returns.
- Overseeing the work of junior accountants and providing constructive feedback.
- Reviewing and, if necessary, preparing corporate tax computations.
- Drafting personal tax statements.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve company objectives.
A successful Accounts Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA OR ACCA).
- Prior experience managing a portfolio of clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero is preferable) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- A competitive salary range of \xc2\xa350,000 - \xc2\xa360,000 per annum + benefits.
