Are you a meticulous Bookkeeper ready to step up, or an experienced Accounts professional seeking a new challenging role. Til-ex Limited is looking for a skilled proactive Accounts Manager/ Bookkeeper to take sole charge of our financial operation, ensuring accuracy and supporting our business growth.

Duties

Manage day to day bookkeeping, including sales and purchase ledgers. Online banking, reconciliations and cashflow. Process weekly payroll (Sage50), pensions, holidays, expenses etc. Prepare VAT Returns, PAYE and CIS Assist with credit control activities to optimise cash flow Prepare accurate financial reports, monthly management accounts and trial balances Provide support and liaise with external accountants for year end Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and maintain records in compliance with accounting standards

Skills

Willing to learn a bespoke Access programme that links to Sage 50. (some training provided during handover period). Must have excellent knowledge of spreadsheets for supporting month end reports. Proven experience in bookkeeping and general accounting is essential. Proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll Ability to analyse financial data accurately and prepare detailed reports Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
