ROLE OVERVIEW



PURPOSE OF JOB



To assist the team with accounting tasks for the preparation of monthly and yearly financial management information distributed to the wider business. This is an excellent entry level position in an established and rapidly growing listed financial services firm, with a structured training and coaching programme, to develop the skills, qualities and experiences to progress in a position within internal finance and develop accounting duties and responsibilities.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


Assisting with the monthly management accounts process. Maintenance of various financial schedules and registers. Posting of journal entries. Assisting with the annual year end closing process. Supporting the team with year end and interim audit requests. Monthly and weekly reporting tasks. Uphold the Group's policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed. Undertake any other duties as required. Adhere to Risk & Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation. Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviours.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS


Undertaking or desire to develop career by undertaking a professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure towards multiple deadlines. Team player, ability to work well with a team. * Strong work ethic.
