Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be supporting a global, family-owned organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. The role will be based from our clients offices in Bridge of Don.


This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to build a career in finance and gain hands-on experience within a busy, professional environment.

The Opportunity

Working within the finance function, you will be responsible for ensuring all invoices and supplier information are processed accurately and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills in transactional finance and general administration, with support from an experienced team.




Key responsibilities:


Checking all invoices against the correct purchase orders Processing invoices through scanning and approval systems Handling and resolving invoice queries Maintaining the Returns Folder and ensuring records are up to date Reconciling supplier statements Managing shared finance email inboxes Distributing mail and assisting with general office administration Supporting management with any additional ad-hoc tasks

Background and Experience

You'll bring a keen eye for detail, great communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. This role would suit someone starting out in their finance career or looking to take their first step into an accounts-focused position.



Previous office or admin experience would be an advantage but isn't essential - full training will be provided.
